Country singer/songwriter Morgan Griffiths, is Abbotsford BC’s newest rising star. The highly anticipated new single “Bourbon” hit radio on March 1, 2025. It’s a whiskey-
soaked anthem song about trying to outrun heartache.
He was selected as IHeart Radio’s Future Star, Rogers Radio One to Watch and Artist of the Month on JRFM. It wasn’t long before others were championing his song. This
brought his single to new heights landing him a #23 Spot on the Media Base chart in the first six weeks!

Morgan was featured on the cover of Apple Music’s Canada’s Country playlist and Bourbon had over 400,000 total streams and continues to grow daily. He has written with Patricia Conroy, Gavin Slate, Griffen Palmer, David Thompson, Danick Dupelle, Tyler Joe Miller, Chris Buck and Jason Blaine to name a few.

 

”Bourbon” now has over 2.2 Million streams, along with Morgan being the first independent artist in Canada to ever achieve the #4 position on the Canadian Country Chart.

Morgan’s roots run deep in Newfoundland, where his entire family hails from. Growing up in a musically gifted household—his father plays guitar and accordion, his mother the fiddle, his brother sings and plays guitar and his sister plays the drums. It was clear from the start that music would play a central role in his journey.

During the pandemic, Morgan picked up a guitar, igniting a passion that only grew stronger over the years. Morgan quickly discovered a love for songwriting,
crafting heartfelt songs that reflect the ups and downs of life. "I write about good times and hard times with the hope my listeners can step back from whatever they are facing at that moment and just get lost in the lyrics for a while."

Offstage, Morgan’s life is filled with love and joy with his fiancée and there newly introduced son Tucker. Safe to say Morgan Griffiths is just getting started, and is excited to dive headfirst into the country music scene.
